Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Glossed by Jessica. These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments and services booked with me. By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms set out below.
Please take a moment to read through them — they're here to make sure we're on the same page and that your experience runs smoothly.
2. Bookings & Appointments
When you book an appointment, it will be automatically confirmed. However, I reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking that doesn't fit my availability or policies.
Please make sure the information you provide when booking is accurate and up to date, including your contact details, so I can reach you if needed.
If you need to get in touch about your appointment, please use the contact details provided at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give me at least 48 hours' notice. This allows me to offer the slot to another client.
Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours' notice may be treated as a late cancellation. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in me declining future bookings.
I understand that emergencies happen — if something unexpected comes up, please get in touch as soon as possible and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
4. No-Shows
A no-show is when a client fails to attend their appointment without giving any prior notice. No-shows are logged, and I reserve the right to refuse future bookings from clients who repeatedly fail to attend.
If you're running late, please let me know as soon as you can. Depending on the delay, I may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment to avoid impacting other clients.
5. Payment
Full payment is due at the end of your appointment. I accept payment by cash, card or bank transfer.
Prices for services are as listed at the time of booking. If there are any changes to the price (for example, due to additional services requested during the appointment), I will let you know before proceeding.
6. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of the services I provide, I am unable to offer refunds once a service has been completed.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible. I genuinely care about your experience and will do my best to resolve any concerns.
7. Your Responsibilities
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened to avoid delays for other clients, and the full price will still apply.
Please let me know in advance of any allergies, skin conditions, medical conditions or anything else that could affect your treatment. This helps me ensure your safety and deliver the best results.
8. My Responsibilities
I will always aim to provide a high standard of service in a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
I reserve the right to refuse or stop a service if I believe it may not be safe or suitable for you. If I do need to stop a service partway through for safety reasons, you will only be charged for the work completed.
9. Privacy & Your Data
Any personal information you provide is used solely for the purpose of managing your bookings and appointments. I will not share your data with third parties unless required by law.
Your data is stored securely and handled in accordance with UK data protection regulations, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). If you'd like to know what information I hold about you, or if you'd like it updated or deleted, just get in touch.
10. Liability
Whilst I take every care to deliver safe, high-quality services, I cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions or outcomes that result from undisclosed allergies, medical conditions or failure to follow aftercare advice.
If you experience any issues following a treatment, please contact me as soon as possible so I can advise you on next steps.
11. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will apply to bookings made after the updated terms are published. I'd encourage you to review them when booking.
